Cell Phone Recycling and Trade-In

Cell Phone Recycling and Trade-In

Here at nTelos, we realize the responsibility we all have to the environment. What better way to make an impact than by recycling your old cell phone whenever you upgrade to a new one? It's easy!

Here's all you need to know:

Where do I recycle my used device? Bring your used wireless device to any nTelos Wireless retail location.

What kinds of devices should I recycle? You can recycle more than just cell phones! nTelos Wireless will accept all brands and models of cell phones, batteries, accessories, data cards, and other mobile broadband devices. Be sure to check out our new trade-in program to see how you can turn your old phone into cold, hard cash.

How do I prepare my phone for recycling? Before you drop your used cell phone, be sure to save all the important data you will need for your new phone and delete the rest. Here's how:

  1. Back up all data to your phone's SD card or your computer (contacts, photos, important documents, etc.)
  2. Reset the phone to its original settings (a "factory reset" or "master reset"). This will wipe any remaining data on the device. View our interactive guides for detailed instructions for your specific device.
  3. Remove the SD card before dropping off your phone at your nearest nTelos Wireless location.
